Show House Sponsorship Opportunities
Become a Show House Sponsor
HEC’s mission is to support the preservation and restoration of the Ellicott City Historic District as well as other historic Howard County properties, and to promote a greater awareness of Ellicott City and Howard County history. Our show houses provide the majority of the funds we generate to support this mission. Show houses require the efforts of several hundred volunteers and several months of planning and execution each year.
In addition to all the volunteers who put in 1,000s of hours planning and executing a show house, many cannot dedicate this much effort and choose to contribute through generous cash donations. Through the years we have had many significant donations and we recognize these top level individuals and organizations through three sponsorship levels. The levels and recognition provided are as follows:
The Preservationist: $3,000
- Six (6) Tickets to the Preview Party
- Six (6) Tickets to the Show House
- Sponsorship Recognition on Website and at Event
The Historian: $2,000
- Four (4) Tickets to the Preview Party
- Four (4) Tickets to the Show House
- Sponsorship Recognition on Website and at Event
The Renovator: $1,000
- Two (2) Tickets to the Preview Party
- Two (2) Tickets to the Show House
- Sponsorship Recognition on Website and at Event
While not everyone feels comfortable participating at these levels, you may show your support in the following ways:
- Contribute as a sponsor at the $50, $100, $200, $250, or $500 level and have your name added to the sponsors page on this website
- Volunteer for any of the many positions available during the period of the show house by sending your email to us at : showhouse@historicec.com, and we will send you a Sign Up Genius invite.
