Witching Hour Farm

Mar 14, 2010

This year’s show house, Witching Hour Farm, is a one hundred year old, seven bedroom home on eighty acres in the beautiful horse country of Woodbine, Maryland. The property was named for a favorite horse of a previous owner. The horse was born at the stroke of midnight (the witching hour) and the name evokes thoughts of magic and mystery. With a lot of hard work, and a little magic, the designers have transformed a blank palette into a warm and welcoming home.

After exploring the interior of the house, guests can enjoy the Boutique, Shoemaker Country, Wild Goose Chase Antiques, and on-site catering by Bud’s at Silver Run.

Historic Ellicott City, Inc. is proud to be sponsoring this fine show house for our 26th event. Proceeds from this fundraiser are used to promote our mission of preservation, restoration and education in Howard County, including the mill replica the organization plans to build in the Historic District of Ellicott City, the oral history program and the plaque program.
