Have you always been curious about the yellow stucco mansion on the hill high above Ellicott City and next to the Courthouse? Its’ called Mt. Ida — and its the home of the administrative offices of both Historic Ellicott City, Inc. and the Friends of the Patapsco Female Institute. HEC opens the doors to Mt. Ida from 11:00 to 3:00 on the second Saturday of every month from June to November for tours.
Mt. Ida will be open for visitors on November 12th.
Admission is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for students. Children under 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, cash preferred. For more information, click here.
